Don't blame Criterion. Grey Gardens is regarded by many critics as one of the best - if the not THE best - documentaries of all time.

At least they are interesting people. Much more interesting and eccentric and genuine than watching other people in what they call Reality Television starring dimeadozen famewhores with nothing to tout except cheap beauty
So why did you watch? I enjoy Criterion films a great deal, but not every single one of them.
