Snack stand girl at the zoo

Please help me settle a bet. The actress at the snack stand at the zoo didn't get a credit in the film. I think it's a brunette Frances McDormand! My husband says no way. Does anyone know for sure?

Well, I don't know who that actress is, but I doubt it's who you think it is.

I checked imdb.com and they list Frances McDormand's first role as "Abby" in Blood Simple (1984).

Frances McDormand was born in 1957 (according to imdb); Cooley High was filmed in 1974. So she was around 17 yrs. old when this film was made. The actress in the snack stand could have been a teenager. Maybe 17, 18 yrs old....hmmmmm.

But I doubt its Frances McDormand.

That actress bears no resemblance to Frances McDormand whatsover! None at all!! Nothing personal, but I find it hard to believe that you would entertain such a notion

she didn't start her acting career until the 80's.

No way it was her, regardless of when she started acting.

The snack bar actress does not resemble McDormand, and is far too old to be her.
