I've seen artists reference Cooley High in their songs and music videos.
For example:
The Fugees - "Killing Me Softly" music video / "Fu-gee-la" (Lauryn's verse).
Alicia Keys - "You Don't Know My Name" music video.

But just out of curiosity, does anyone know of other musicians who have paid homage to this film?

Yeah! Nas mentioned "dropping out of Cooley High" on Memory Lane (Sittin' in Da Park) from the Illmatic album. Camp Lo also recorded a track entitled "Coolie High". Boyz2Men's debut album, in tribute to the film is called CooleyHighHarmony.
