Season 2 episode 16-17, "The Set-up", Starskey's car gets blown up. The very next episode (18) it's back. What's up with that?

At that time, red Torinos were cheap and plentiful. All Starsky had to do was get a new car with the insurance money and get thr white stripe painted on it.

The car was my second favorite character on the show, right after Starsky and right before Hutch.
