Does anyone remember if the piggy bank on Starsky and Hutch's shared desk space is ever mentioned in an episode? That bank is in the show from the beginning of Season 2 to the end of the series, but I don't remember ever hearing any discussion of why they have it or what they use it for.

Thanks. I really have come to the conclusion that it's just there for some off-camera insider reason and never is mentioned in the show at all. But if you do happen to see something, clue me in. :-).
