Imagine making love to Maya
She's gorgeous but the perils of love making.
One slight change of mood or hormones and she'd transform part of the way through.
That could be frightening.

Yeah, I am a typical human male in that sex crosses my mind every few seconds, but I'd have to pass on Maya. With my luck she'd turn into that "Creature From The Black Lagoon" looking thing.
I truly see the next 20 years being both wondrous and terrifying
Or the blob on "The Bringers of Wonder".
shareMaya could transform into any woman, so it's like having sex with a different woman every time.
shareThis is quite true...
OK who would you want her to impersonate?
OK who would you want her to impersonate?
Imagine the fun if Koenig walked in on that.
Much fun would ensue
At the end of "The Seance Spectre" a scene was filmed where Maya turned herself into a human version of herself (Catherine Schell, in other words), but Barbara Bain reminded the producers that a clause in the contracts stipulated that Schell was not allowed to appear without makeup. They had to remove the scene.
shareIt's kind of sad, really. Every now and again, I'll read something about the behind-the-scenes antics on Space: 1999, whether it's Landau, Bain, the Andersons, or Freiberger, it's always disheartening, for lack of a better word. I think how much better this show could have been if there hadn't been so much dysfunction onset.
shareLandau and Bain made some hefty financial demands before being hired, although they were uprooting to another country.
But they were both territorial with the scripts and such.
She did that in "The Exiles," and he kissed each of them to try to figure out who was the real Helena. I thought it was really creepy and inappropriate.
shareHmm-I could think of a lot of worse ways to spend my time lol.
