really sad and pathetic how the only good thing they can do is put an old cast member on the show like tina fey or maya rudolf

they cant' ever get a good cast on this show. and its' been this way for at least 15 years now. the last time this show had a good cast was like 2005 when they had andy samberg.

maybe this show ran it's course. maybe its' not fixable. it's probably not that improv comedy groups don't have talented performers anymore. every show has an expiration date. now a show can go on and just not care about quality but when a show hits this point it's better to bow out gracefully and not over stay your welcome.

some shows end before they get bad like seinfeld and other shows. snl should end right now to not just have more years of being a bad show.

i'm sure lorne michaels doesn't care his show is crap and worthless bc as long as he's making money he's happy and alright but if he has any dignity at all he should save face and he should end the show right now.

i liked the Burr one. but also agree that I don't watch it anymore.

hell, it's been running since 1975.. might be time to end.

the sketches WITHOUT the guest were lame as hell.. and i like Kate McKinnon!
idk guess I'll go back to not watching SNL again

I think people should vote with their feet and not with their mouths.
Don't like? Don't watch.
A lot of SNL I find cringy and uninspiring, but they are still walking that tight rope and taking risks and most of the cast is very likable, and I do look forward to Weekend Update.
I don't know of any other comedy ensembles doing anything better, and it beats whatever else comes on that time of night, at least to me.
What would you rather watch? Some infomercials?

uh how in the world could you find them likable? they are the most generic, insipid, unlikable, pretentious, immature, unprofessional, unfunny, annoying bc they are so unfunny and also bc they dont' know what the hell they are doing on snl cast members that the show has ever had. i'm talking about the cast members that they have had in the last 10 years.

wow, great rationalizations. so its' not as bad as the worst show ever made so it's then a good show? you don't know of any other comedy ensemble doing anything better? well maybe bc there arne't any other comedy avenues that allow them to do any better? that's the problem there needs to be more places to watch up and coming comedy troupes doing skit comedy or improv comedy on tv.
