"Mrs. O'Leary's Kid" Episode and Schneider's camper

The way Schneider slammed the apartment door shocked the holy hell out of me!  

He had every right to be pissed but that just knocked me for a loop!

I keep wondering when he replaced the camper, because Max and Julie are living in it at some point. You ever get hung up on the wrong thing in a movie or TV show? I still can't watch Witness for the Prosecution without wondering how an egg beater can separate the egg.

I tend to do the same thing when I watch a movie that has multiple continuity errors. Some of them are so obvious that you can't help but wonder how the editors missed them.

There was an episode of the old TV show "Maude" in which the maid's shoes went from black to red then back to black. She was standing on the stairs when they changed, which was rather bizarre.

Julie and Max stayed in the camper way before Alex burned it down!

Ah. I must be confused because some of the "camper" episodes were run during the marathon, so I'm not really sure where they go in the sequence. I haven't seen the episodes from the later seasons since they originally ran of TV in 1979 and the early 80s, and many of them I saw only once, because they were up against Masterpiece Theater in summer reruns.

To Corinna Carpenter :

I saw that episode the night it aired on March 7th,
1982 and yes ,Schneider's entrance was truly surprising.

I was 13 then and I'd seen him mad before but in that moment he looked like he was going give Alex 'the belt'. I missed the ep. this time around but ,if I recall right ,the wall of the front door set shook didn't it?

You can;t blame Dweayne for being P.O.d ,he'd treated Alex like a son and then he goes and does something like that (smoking in the camper) without thinking of anyone but himself & his 'buddy'.

Then ,stupidly putting the cigarette in a trash can? I'd be 'that' mad too.

Pat Harrington gave alot of great performances on this show, but this one took the cake. Then there was the one when Alex made fun of his lodge and Schneider defended them. The last episode, when he said goodbye to Ann and told her (through tears) how much he loved her. Right now, I'm watching the ep where he finds out his nephew was a klepto. He is a great actor!

ξ‚Ÿ WHAT WOULD SGT SAUNDERS DO? ξ‚£

If anyone deserved a spanking it was definately alex in this episode and it should have been schnieder giving it to him. He could have burned down the entire building not to mention all the people displaced, Ann was way too lenient. This would have been the time to yell and scream and swat, hell even barbara was livid. Its the same as in the episode of dr quinn medicine woman where brian and his friend were playing with the magnifying glass causing a fire, sully takes him to the woodshed for a spanking. the end does justify the means.
