The Long Hair Of Isis

You guys may think I am kind of silly...but I love extra long hair on women. I love it when it is waist-lenght, or even longer like Isis had. The question is was that her real hair down to her waist? Then again it may have been an expensive human hair wig from the Orient.

On the DVD there is an interview dubbed over the first season episode called "Dreams of Flight" and durring the discussion one of the producers as one of 2 possible questions.

1. That was her real hair? or 2 That was real hair (refering to a human-hair wig?)

So the question is when Joanna turned into Isis was that her real hair or not?

I was watching that episode with the commentary and was noticing her hair as soon as one of them did say it was her real hair (which is what I believe they said, not that it was real hair).

I find that hard to believe, as it just didn't look real, plus when she was Andrea and had her hair pulled back, the hair didn't look as long.

Now I have two sisters who when they were little had long full heads of hair, so I have a general idea of what it would look like.

Cameron's hair could clearly be of a different texture (and does seem to be. My sisters hair had much more body, even when she is wearing the pony tail as Andrea), but in the same commentary episode, the two guys are talking about one scene where one of the kids almost falls thru a catwalk.

It was a very well-done shot for such a low budget program, but look carefully and you can see the kid is tied to the railing so he won't fall. One of the commentators says there was no safety ropes or something.

When she was Isis they put a black wig under her hair (most likely held in place by her tiara)to give her extra body an six or so extra inches. You can see it when her real hair got lighter during the summer.

I agree with Ulysess. My hair is to my upper hip. I noticed Isis' hair to be about the same length as mine when she is in superhero mode, but as a student her real hair was more mid-back length.

I just saw this show for the first time ever today on some retro broadcast TV channel. I had never even heard of it before. A nice surprise long hair treat!
