I can see it now: brings back extremely dated 1970s humor involving upper class Caucasian man hitting and insulting an immigrant server who can barely speak English (Polish this time?), cries "cancel culture" and "wokeness" when there's backlash.

I watched a few episodes. For the most part it holds up.

I imagine if there's an immigrant character he'll get the best of Basil this time, and probably be the smartest character on the show. They won't do things exactly the same way.
