Basil and Sybil smoking
In the "Hotel Inspectors" episode, Basil and Sybil both smoke, but I can't recall any other episodes in which they do.. Can anyone confirm?

and I don't remember if we see them smoking in the Basil the rat but the inspector mentions 'evidence of smoking in food preparation areas' -- which is gross but I didn't know it was frowned upon back then. I mean, the US in the 70's teachers could smoke in their classrooms during class.
