Did it appear in a couple episodes that it just sort of ended without hearing the final line and the audience wasn't quite sure what was said and if that was the ending of the episode.
I'm thinking of what the German guy said at the end and also what the psychiatrist said, because I have no idea either.
The German guy said, "How ever did they win?"
shareAnd at the end of The Psychiatrist, when Basil has his jacket pulled up over his head and is jumping around, Dr Abbott (The Psychiatrist) says "Iam on holiday." The point is that Dr Abbott obviously thinks Basil needs mental help but as he's on holiday (at the hotel) Basil would need to look elsewhere.
As the other poster said, At the end of The Germans, the German guy says "However did they win?" meaning how did the English win the war with someone like Basil in charge of a hotel..
