Some one now why the name Baretta?

I believe that they called the show and the main character "Baretta" because Blake's character is tough and rough like a 9mm Baretta handgun.

Haha yeah and if you've ever owned and shot a beretta you'd know they aren't exactly rough and tough (good guns though just not worthy of being named after).
