Where the Luther Children went to School in the Movie

THE SCHOOL BUILDING THAT WAS USED IN THE MOVIE WHERE THE LILIES BLOOM, IS LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF ELK PARK, NORTH CAROLINA 28622(ZIPCODE). THIS IS WHERE I LIVE AT. MOST ALL OF PEOPLE IN THE SCHOOL SCENES WERE FROM ELK PARK AND WERE
ACTUAL STUDENTS THERE.....AND ALOT OF THEM STILL LIVE HERE....SEVERAL YEARS AGO THEY BUILT A NEW ELK PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND THE OLD SCHOOL SOLD TO A GROUP OF INVESTORS THAT HAVE CONVERTED THE SCHOOL INTO ELDERLY AND DISABLED HOUSING...IT IT ALSO ON THE NATIONAL HISTORIC REGISTER..JANE

I just watched the movie and I was wondering if the school was still in use or not. According to the movie it looked like all grades went there. I still wonder why this movie has not a proper DVD release. I would like to see a nice letterbox version someday.

Where did you watch the movie? Was it on tv or do you have it on tape?

I have checked Amazon and it seems that it is only available on VHS. I do have the actual DVD but it is copyrighted and cannot be legally reproduced.
