I'm after it too. There are a few sellers in the US on Ebay - it's on a double feature with Embryo. It's quite cheap, so I've already put my order in. It is a region 1 DVD though, so if you're not in the US then you will need a multi-region DVD player.
Good Luck

The best way to find WHERE HAVE ALL THE PEOPLE GONE? is on the old Karl-Lorimar home video. It is hard to find -- but if you can locate it and not have to pay an arm and a leg for it it's well worth having.
It may well be that this DVD release of PEOPLE (with EMBRYO included) was "mastered" right from an old Karl-Lorimar tape instead of the actual film print.
I've got the old tape and you can tell it came right from a film print.
I reckon as long as the DVD double-feature is cheap it may be a good buy, but then again if you have no interest in EMBRYO it may be worth tracking down the pre-record.

I see it on eBay right now in 16mm for $50.
shareI reckon the difficult part would be that very few people have a film projector.
I have boatloads of videos but no film projector.

I just bought this off ebay for $12.99 w/o Embryo.
THANK god, I've been looking for this for AGES.
I have seen that DVD 2-movie disk for sale before. Can't remember what company released it, though.
I still think the old Karl-Lorimar videocassette is the best because I think the DVD company used that tape as their DVD 'master'.
What's the picture quality like?

Wont know until I get it.
shareDear sweetpea6380: Good luck.
I may go to Amazon and see what company released that DVD just 'cuz I'm curious.

The quality isnt GREAT, But its watchable. I guess until, Which chances are HIGH that it wont, It comes out on retail dvd, That the quality and copies will be the same.
shareDear sweetpea: Old Tv movies don't get any respect from the DVD companies.
I reckon they probably did use an old VHS tape as their "master".
At least it was expensive.
Thanks for the update.
