Screenwriter of The Three Musketeers George MacDonald Fraser died yesterday (2 Jan 2008) at the age of 82.

For his work in film and the Flashman novels much thanks.

GMF was great. Flashman was a brilliant series. George will be missed.

Shame, though Lester didn't do as well by him with Royal Flash. It's mostly good but doesn't have the right pacing.
