When will Lester's excellent trilogy be re-released on DVD? I would love to see a boxed set of these three flicks. Only the Three Musketeers has been releseased in widescreen and the Return has never even been put out on DVD!!

This year, Anchor Bay put out a 2-disc set of the first two, calling it "The Complete Musketeers." AFAIK, there are no plans to release the third film on DVD.
shareThe Anchor Bay release is a MAJOR improvement over the earlier DVD releases of THE THREE and THE FOUR MUSKETEERS. (For one thing, that earlier release of THE THREE MUSKETEERS is missing several minutes of footage throughout. And the FOUR MUSKETEERS, although in English, used a print in which all the credits were in French. And I think I got the Anchor Bay set for only $5 more than what Fox was charging for EACH individual musketeer title.) Unfortunately, THE RETURN OF THE MUSKETEERS has only been released to VHS, by Universal. Don't know of any future plans for a DVD release there or not. It would have been great if Anchor Bay could have picked up the rights to the entire Musketeer trilogy. (Maybe a letter writing campaign to either them or Universal could at least get someone THINKING about a DVD release.)

I did not know this was available on DVD. I subscribe to Netflix and know they do not have it in their library, which is amazing since they have everything. Do you know where you can get a DVD (widescreen) version of it?
shareThe Anchor Bay release has both wide screen and full screen options. I had to special order my copy through my local dvd store. It's worth it.
