Hey! This is my first post in IMDB! I have read that the movie or at least a part of it was filmed in Madrid, Spain the place where I was born and live. Do you know something about that? You know locations, dates and that kind of info. Thank you very much in advance!
shareThere's a documentary on the two disk DVD set that tells about the filming. It was done in Spain during Franco's reign. I don't know anymore beyond that.
shareMany of the street scenes were filmed in Toledo, near Madrid. The royal palace shown in the movie is the Aranjuez Palace, also near Madrid. I'm not sure if any scenes were filmed in Madrid city.
