Hoping For A Blu-ray Release Soon

Netflix now has both Three and Four streaming. I am watching Four now and its obviously a cleaned up, stunning looking scan. No scratches and its in HD. Keeping my fingers crossed that Lionsgate does a release soon.

Hoping to get such an edition soon as well! I wonder why they haven't done it already...

Would like some cast/director commentaries whilst there are still enough of them around, too!

I'd luv to purchase the Blu-ray edition of "The Three Musketeers" (1973) and it's follow up "The Four Musketeers: Milady's Revenge" (1974)

You can get some of the actors, the only problem is the way the Salkind's tried to screw them, I'm sure they'd be reluctant to add more commentary unless they got some decent pay.

Its actually become a clause in movie contracts since he did it, your work can only be used in one movie unless you are paid. LOL

An excellent film. It deserves it.

I bought the 1&2 Musketeers Blu-ray combo from Amazon UK, works in my US PS3 and looks great and wasn't too expensive. Now I have both movies.

From your lips to Liongate's ears. I couldn't believe it took Netflix so long to make these films available. I'd love to see a boxed set stuffed with commentary and behind the scenes tidbits.

reply

The UK release of both films does indeed work in US bluray players and it's not too expensive (even with the shipping).
