This was the movie...
This was the movie that began my love for horror. It was such a different look and feel on film. Growing up on "A Nightmare On Elm Street," "Friday The 13th," and "Halloween" franchises, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" felt like I was watching real events. Having the poster claiming the movie was based on actual happenings and the beginning scrolling text explaining the horrible events that happened to Sally and her friends really made a lasting impression on me with the horror genre and filmmaking.
