Don't have a top 5 but Dog Day Afternoon and "Pelham" would almost certainly make mine.

I'd really love to put Annie Hall in the list, but we're limited to just five films. Another great New York movie is Midnight Cowboy, but that came out in 1969.

I loved Network. But I don't remember a lot of outdoor scenes in it.
