This film may have caused the death of the REAL Roshmann.

According to " I Have Never Forgotten You " a documentary about the life of Simon Weisenthal, Roshmann died indirectly due to "The Odessa File". According to the documentary, a man watching the film in Argentina realized (how, is not explained) that he had Roshmann for a neighbor. When he went to the police, someone tipped off Roshmann who fled to Paraguay. According to the documentary, Roshmann had a heart attack crossing the river into Paraguay, and later died from it. I cannot document the truth of this account.

According to rumor, the O.D.E.S.S.A. itself killed him because of the publicity generated about the organization by the film. If any of this is true, it only adds more joy to an already good film.

Surely the moniker of Edward Roeschmann was made up. I find your tale to be quite unbelievable.

I hope it contributed to his death. Rot in Hell with your Fuhrer, Nazi scum.

If this movie contributed to his death, that just makes it better.
