Who played the "corpse"? He looked for a moment like the British character on "The Jeffersons". Perhaps I am wrong.

You're talking about Paul Benedict, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0070801/ No, he didn't play a cameo role as the corpse. When the movie was made, he was a regular character actor on American TV sitcoms

Benedict also appeared on "Sesame Street" as The Painter. He appeared in short sketches to teach numbers. Each one started out with the The Painter wandered into a scene and saying to himself, "I'm going to paint a (number)". Then he'd use whatever materials he could find and paint the number, and then some bystander would ruin the painting. For example, he came across a young lady having a picnic, and he painted a 3 on her sandwich with some mayonnaise. And then she ate it.

You're very welcome!

Another role I remember for Paul Benedict was as the Austrian real estate agent in "The Man With Two Brains".

He was very good for comedy, because of his size and because of his facial features. I don't know if he had any medical condition, but he certainly had a distinct look, that played well in comedic roles.

LOL, B-rad: I DO remember him in that unsung Steve Martin movie! He did have unusual features, which probably did not get him many serious parts. But he made the best of it!
