What was the name of the tune/song played on the sountrack? Possibly later recorded by Perry Como. (My Christmas -----?)? Alan
share The song is called "Christmas Dream" and Perry Como is the singer. I actually have an album of Perry Como's just to have that song. The CD is called "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Forever"

It was indeed called 'Christmas Dream' sung by Perry Como and written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, it also featured The London Boy Singers, of which I was one!!
Can you remember the German words to the song as these are not added to the songs lyrics on the internet?

I don't know if anybody has heard Lily Allen's song Alfie, but I just had to look-up who sang Christmas Dream because it sounded as though that and Alfie were the same music. I now know they aren't - I think Alfie is based on Puppet On A String - but I just had to look it up. Well done to those who already knew who sang the song and it's name etc. It's a bit cheesy to some but I like it.
