Was that sugar? Salt?

And why? What does that do?

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I believe eating salt with Mexican beer is a thing. At least in California. It's a taste/preference thing.

My momma always put a shake of salt in her beer (when she and dad split one...). It made the beer foam up into a frothy head. How it affected the taste I have no idea. On a somewhat related subject mom also lightly sprinkled watermelon. I tried it once and didn't care for it, but a lot of people did and still salt watermelon.
