Why Castle Anthrax?
I was wondering why was Castle Anthrax called so? Is there any specific reason?
And why Zoot's sister is called Dingo? Does it suggest that she snatches babies?

Would you name a castle after a disease that makes animals *beep* and vomit themselves to death? Like Zoot said, "I know it's not a very good name."
shareWell this film came out about six years before the death of Azaria Chamberlain and fourteen years before Evil Angels/Cry in the Dark which popularized the line "A dingo ate my baby!".
"Unless Alpert's covered in bacon grease, I don't think Hugo can track anything."

I'm not certain but I believe it was related to a health scare of the time.
Anthrax was a major killer of livestock before Louis Pasteur found that Jenner's germ theory worked as well for anthrax as for smallpox in the 19th century.
Why not name a castle full of teenage virgins after a disease? Must have made sense to somebody.
