dID THEY ACTUALLY build Scaramanga House/fortress on that island or was it just a built up front of his house? where did they film his power plant and Funhouse? IS THE FRONT OF Scarmangas house still on that island in thailand? THANK YOU.
shareScaramanga's house was just a facade. There really isn't anything behind it but a very shallow cave. I don't know if you could even call it a cave. Definitely nothing big enough to build a set in. The interior scenes were all shot in England at Pinewood Studios(I presume). No, the facade is long gone. I was there many years after the movie was made, but I'm sure the filmmakers tore down the facade after they finished filming. Nothing is on the island now but some tacky souvenir booths.
