I guess i'm probably in the minority here but this one is up there among my favourite Bond films. I love the location ( Thailand Island) and Christopher Lee is an absolute legend and is brilliant as Scaramanga. Not to mention Nick Nak as the other Villain. The theme song is not the strongest out of the bond themes but still a cool and catchy theme song. I personally love this movie and go back to it a number of times from my Bond collection.

shareI've always liked it too. Probably my second favorite Moore outing only behind The Spy Who Loved Me. The title song is my favorite despite popular opinion to the contrary. It has its flaws for sure, but there is a lot of fun about it. I like that Bond is up against kind of an equal in Scaramanga.
shareI love all the Moore movies, but TMWTGG and LALD are my least favorite of the bunch. I find the case/investigation in TMWTGG kind of boring and sometimes stupid. But I do love the opening and the end duel with Scaramanga, they're pretty epic. So I can never fully bring myself to write it off. All the crap in the middle is worth it for the pre-titles and seeing Moore/Lee face off in the funhouse.

Me too!!!! That island hideaway....... Goodnight........ Christopher Lee (count dooku)........... Tatu (fantasy island)...... Sheriff and Bond are a great team! The flying AMC car and the other AMC car that also "flies"! Everything about this movie is AWESOME!
