Since IMDB did some 'housecleaning' and deleted all the oldest MAME threads, feel free to revive discussions about the pros and cons of this misguided venture.

shareSorry so late in replying to your comment. I was really angry to see the way the Mame (and other threads) have been deleted!. You seem to know a great deal about Mame and Lucille Ball, can you tell me if the film actually eventually became profitable?. I never tire of the film, I take it for what it is, a big, bold, noisy piece of Hollywood which I think is very badly underated.
