Oh man, what a letdown

I waited and waited the whole movie for something to happen. I found this movie pretty boring and I could care less about the characters or what they were doing. Finally, in the end came the so-called rumble. Chico was going down to take care of Arnie Levine. He asked his buddies to join him. The whole gang starts marching alongside each other to the showdown. As they were all walking together, it reminded me of the scene in The Wild Bunch when they were all walking together in the end for the climactic showdown. That was an epic scene in The Wild Bunch. I don't know if I'd say it was epic in The Lord's of Flatbush, but I was getting excited. Stallone was always a great physical actor. The way he was walking made him look like such a badass. At one point, I noticed that Rocky and Fonzie were walking next to each other. I thought it was so cool. In the end, nothing happened. There was no big fight or big rumble. Nothing exciting happened. Chico started wrestling around with Arnie Levine, guys on the football team tried to break it up and the Lords started chasing them. That was it. What a letdown. I thought I'd walk away and find at least one cool thing about the movie. In the end I didn't. I couldn't.
