In the Tarantino tribute to b-movies of the 70's "Grindhouse", there's a reference made to "Killdozer" by one of the characters. I don't recall the line now, but I remembered the movie and it had me rolling!

Dude, I can't even BEGIN to list all the times they mention this on MST3K. ANY time a piece of consturction equipment appears in a movie, someone will yell out "KILLDOZER! HEY, It's Killdozer! Oh, wait, nevermind."
I had always wondered why this movie was so lengendary to the group, and then I saw it.
Why the HELL was the monster trying to kill everybody? It wasn't eating them, it really couldn't invade: It had NO motivation whatsoever. But hey, that just makes it funnier.

In the "Planet Terror" portion of Grindhouse, El Wray (Freddie Rodriguez) refers to his tow truck as the Killdozer.
