ANNA MARX'S CHARACTER

Maria suffered from congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis, right?

reply

Maria's character (Anna) did felt pain, she just was very strong and resisting it, as she said she would rather die than cry.

And what makes you think she had anhidrosis? In all the torture scenes she was sweating profusely.

By the way I didn't like how her character ends and neither the violence, but the movie was over the top and cheesy: Orange blood, guys that get shoot and die without any visible wound or blood, fake skin peeling off, LOL.

Thank you for your response. I had only seen stills from the movie. Would love to see it though. But from what I have read, it seemed like she had the condition. But from what i had read, her character seemed really likable, didn't she? Folks were really pulling for her.

reply

Most of my pulling was done while watching Ilsa and her two topless lieutenants. ;-)

Maria Marx isn't too hard on eyes, either. A very handsome woman in a 1970s way.

reply

Yeah, she was likable, i wanted her to make it out alive. It made the film that much more disturbing to feature sympathetic characters rather than one dimensional ones.
