Ilsa happily takes every opportunity to be gratuitous: unwarrented nudity (why are the floggers topless???), castration merely to make the majority male audiences cringe, Ilsa herself roaming around with her shirt unbuttoned to her navel so that her acres of cleavage are visible even while making an administrative phone call, gallons of blood the colour of barn paint...

Pure, unadulterated, exploitative gratification.

just relaxing after a hard day at the office.

My favourite aspect of the movie is the surprisingly (for this movie anyway) subtle 'Nazis are stupid' theme - Miss Thorn and her fake-tanned uniformed assistants begin the movie in 'smart' uniforms and, by the end of it, they where dirty, scruffy, drunk and incapable of stringing a sentence together.

Silverback gorilla's are the old boys who are the top dog in the gorrila pack. (troup? Not sure what the collective noun for gorilla's is). What he's saying is that Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS is the top of the steaming pile of exploitation films...
