Sorry if this has been discussed or if everyone is already aware of this.

It would appear that Kanye West has drawn an insane amount of inspiration from this movie and the director. A lot of the comparisons were discovered by a guy that posted the majority of it here:

Just thought some people might be interested in this. Apparently Kanye was ranting about the genius of Jodorowsky at a concert. Since that original posting on the Kanye forum, a bunch of media outlets have done their own commentating on the connections between "Yeezus" and "The Holy Mountain".

I appreciate a mainstream figure promoting this film, bringing it to the attention of a newer generation. I doubt he'll be burning his money or attempting to shed himself of ego in search of spirituality anytime soon.
