Good to know this influences art even today
I ran across this recent New York Times article about Jodorowsky's influence on mega-icon Kanye West. It looks like the imagery from the film has resonance with artists of today.

It's good to see the film have popular resurgence 40 years after it's release.
This film is definitely a product of the era it was created, the 70's. It's absurd and over the top, so there's something for everyone.
It'll be interesting to revisit this another 40 years from now.
