I enjoy intelligent, quality films from all over the world, from early cinema up to contemporary films. I did not enjoy this at all. There are some interesting visuals in a few scenes but that is all. This film was slow and boring in many parts and was not entertaining. It was not profound, inspiring or life changing. There was nothing impressive about the acting and no real character development. I couldn't care about any of these one dimensional characters. There was no point in watching the film. I think this movie was lacking substance or any emotional heart. It was just weird, pointless nonsense.

I did get to the end and concluded it was not a well made film.

Hi Sam.  While I appreciate poo being turned into gold, that is not enough to make a good movie. That would be a useful skill to have in real life though.

To be fair I've only seen it once, but the part where the poo was turned to gold had me riveted.

I'll watch it again with the Director commentary, found that to be very entertaining for 'El Topo'.

(BTW, the trick they use to turn the poo to gold does not work IRL.)

Me too, more than this one.

If you own it, it's worth watching with the Directors Commentary.

experimental or art movies cannot be good, otherwise they would got oscar and would be known by their name and everyone would be watching it.

they don't have a point, they must be weird. there is lack of everything, it must be boring and slow, there is no entertainment in such movies, many times there is nothing impressive in them - on the surface that is.

I disagree. Experimental or art movies can be good. They don't have to be boring or slow and they should be entertaining.

Ummm so you're saying art films can't be good or entertaining, and if they are, then they aren't experimenral?
That is completely ridiculous.
