The Razor's Edge

A movie and book that is about the shallowness of these materialistic types is : The Razor's Edge. I know many people hated the Bill Murray version because they were used to him being funny, but I enjoyed it. His girlfriend was a lot like Daisey Buchanan. I would recommend renting both from Netflix and watching them in one evening, more for the study of human behavior. Humanity suffers when their heavenly Father is no longer a loving being, but cold hard cash, endless parties and materialistic goods becomes their God.

By the way, I have no problem with hard earned money and paying the bills and putting a little away for the future. Money is not evil, it is the accumulation of it for all the wrong, selfish reasons. The love for it is evil.
