Not Worth Seeing?

There are certain films that my dad tells me are not worth seeing, and do not measure up it's predecessor, such as The Godfather Part III. I love the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, should I bother watching this, or will it be too much of a let-down?

If you go into it not expecting it to be as great as the book, you won't be disappointed. Of course it's not as good as the book, but I don't believe it's completely not worth watching. If you love the novel (like I do) then I suggest seeing the movie, someone else's interpretation of the book.

You've never seen a movie 'til you've seen it twice.
