I think Matt Damon would have been a perfect Gatsby. Armie Hammer a close second, otherwise he could have nailed Nick Carraway.
Farrow and Redford were older than their characters were supposed to be. Daisy is 23 and Gatsby is 32. Redford is 36 and Farrow is 29 in this film.
