THE DVD IS HERE!!!! FINALLY!

I still won't believe it until my copy of FREEBIE actually arrives in the mail.

Ordered mine today as well and it should be here on Thursday. Will finally throw that old, fuzzy bootleg in the trash.

Freebie is Free at Last! Thank you Warner's.

As did I. DVD righty-right?

It has arrived and quality is excellent. Bare bones, EST-MOD which I guess means literally made to order. Anamorphic, mono, with a simple ten-minute per chapter skip. Arrived in only one day.

I agree -- the quality of the DVD is fine. Would've been nice to get some extras, but it's great to finally have a decent, anamorphic version of this great movie

No restoration or extra features and a DVD-R. It's no better than bootleg.

reply

Is the bootleg of it in anamorphic widescreen?

reply

Hopefully with some decent sales WB will realize that this gem requires a special edition and give it the treatment it so rightly deserves.

There really is no reason why this shouldn't have a making of and commentary at the very least.

Come on Warner, get your finger out yer @$$.
