is the film related to the 1001 nights?
Which stories from the 1001 Nights is the film a version of? It doesn't seem to be any of them.
sharethere are several stories in pasolini's version but not well known ones, these include the main story which is ali shar and zumurud (though i also see a bit of noureddin and the fair persian), also included are the porter and the three ladies of baghdad and aziz and aziza, among many others.
