The market is definitely in Farmington (I was there last week). I am not sure where the supermarket is, but I am guessing Ione, California or somewhere near there.

the supermarket is in sonora off 108 coming up from the valley just be sure to use the old way not the new cutoff as that bypasses the old part of sonora ca
shareOh yes, you're right, the bar that they play pool in is still there, across from the walnut planet, on highway 26, on the east end of linden.
and all the walnut orchards used for most of the last part of the movie would probably be in that area.
