NOT the "time Is A Funny Thing" that plays at the beginning and end ... but I remember seeing this on tv in the late 70's ( on ABC ) and in the previews, there was this female voice singing -
" Dirty Mary ( loud acoustic guitar strum ) Crazy Larry" ... am I insane ? Perhaps that could have been something ABC did for their "Friday Night Movie" previews... does anybody remember that ??
You're not crazy -- it's there in the DVD. That song is used on the preview trailers / TV spots, but not in the actual film.
The lyrics are something like this:
"Dirty Mary... (strum) Crazy Larry
You've got to keep on movin'
No time to tarry..."
Apparently, this song was supposed to be part of the movie soundtrack, but the entire musical soundtrack was yanked at the last minute.
wow ! Thanks. I gotta get the dvd sooner rather than later then, to trigger a major ABC Friday Night Movie vibe.. the dvd should be packaged with the Race With The Devil dvd complete with Peter Fonda aviators...
