I watch this movie everytime it shows on cable, and everytime I watch it I marvel at what a wimp the son-in-law is. He whines constantly.

Yeah, it really bugged me that he kept calling him "dad". No one wants a son in law who is that clingy.

I wish Kersey would have shot Jack himself! Even when Jack calls him in his office, Kersey answers with an annoyed "hello Jack".

I think it is sweet that they get along so well, that Kersey loves his son in law so much that he protects him from what he is doing.

His wife ended up a vegetable and his mother in law was killed. He had every right to whine.
