Ghouls vs Zombies
I have seen folks refering to the transformed townspeople as zombies or vampires but they don't at all seem slow and brain dead like your usual zombies. On the contrary they are deviously clever,(see the movie and supermarket scenes). Interestingly, in movie scene, most of the people seem to really be into movie until Toni starts screaming. And although it seems they are nocturnal, they do not drink blood but instead eat flesh, human and animal, dead or alive... for which reason I think ghoul is proabbaly a better term for them.
Walking through the cow pasture of life you are bound to step in some truth
