It is not offensive.


What this movie does is make fun of racists and portray them how they really are, incredibly stupid. That's what I think.

Not offensive to me, either. It's funny. The movie is timeless because it shows how stupid people are.

Yep, you get it. Unfortunately, most of the US has been dumbed-down so much they don't. There's talk again about banning Huck Finn and To Kill A Mockingbird. The reason? Because while they are important books, the teachers/schools don't know how to teach these books because the students and parents get so offended by the words used.

I very much wanted Mockingbird taught to my children. It was the first book I ever read 3 times. When my son read it, we sat and talked about it and how horrible it is to judge a person by their color.
