Why is it so hard to get this on DVD online? Cripes. Everything I can find is bluray or 25+ dollars. Forget that

Just checking, it's not quite as available any more. You can buy the Special Edition one off of Amazon UK, but I think only second hand.
Got lucky enough to find it at my local second hand entertainment store for 7.99. Hell of a find compared to trying to buy it off amazon.

I see now get the duel format DVD for £18.26. (But they now charge for delivery, so that would take it about £20.) Though it is available for less if you buy it non-blu ray second hand.
