Remake ?
I really like this film. It's like Agatha Christie meets horror.I think a remake might actually be quite good.
shareI have often thought that. There is certainly alot of potential there.

Funny you should mention that tommyuk - in one way The Beast Must Die has been remade.
The Howling V: The Rebirth has many similar elements to this film - most notably the Ten Little Indians idea as the viewer tries to work out who the werewolf is amongst the guests in a Hungarian castle...
It's low budget to be sure - but I think it's worth checking out.
Thanks for that nightskald, I might check it out.
shareWhy must every movie be remade? Why can't Hollywood come up with more original material? I see no point in this being remade as it is just fine as an original.
shareI to was watching on AMC and had to leave before it was over. Could someone tell me who the werewolf was? Thanks!
shareI set it tape off of AMC and am looking forward to seeing it tonight. It's been almost 30 years since I saw this at the drive-in, so I've almost completely forgotten it.

I agree Peggy. It will likely be as awful as the remake of Black Christmas (P-U).
Yes, Hollywood needs to give up ripping off classics and start coming up with new and effective ideas minus all the grossly politically corrective junk.

The film is fine the way it is. We don't need a remake. I'm totally fed up with remakes of 70's fright flicks at this point in time; it's been done to death (pun intended). I'd rather see some movies with fresh and original stories instead of more unnecessary and redundant rehashes of previous plots from past pictures.
Q: What's the biggest room in the world? A: The room for improvement.
Remakes suck.

With the path remakes are taking now, a remake of this movie will probably reek.
