what a riot! I love watching this film the characters are funny and real. One of Scorseses best. I watch this movie whenever I just want to unwind and laugh out loud at Tommy and Alice.
Hey somebody please put this on DVD with commentaries from Scorsese, Burstyn, Jodie Foster and or Diane Ladd. With interviews and deleted scenes. Heck why not just put the series on DVD with Linda Lavin.
A wonderful movie with such warm and fuzzy characters. Okay, well-Harvey Keitel wasn't warm & fuzzy in this. LOL

Yeah, i see that they have this movie marked as on dvd on this website, although we know this is not the case. I've been waiting for this one on dvd for a long time. Why Scorcese is so busy doing commentaries for other people's movies and doesn't get the ball rolling on a dvd for this one, or an updated, remastered Mean Streets or GoodFellas, is beyond me.

Digitalbits.com just announced it will be out on August 17th. There is a nice Scorsese boxed set on the way including this, Goodfellas, and Mean Streets

Its a really wonderful DVD box set. Had never seen 'Alice...' before and loved it to bits. All the films have comentaries and some other extras. If you have some extra post-christmas cash its worth picking up.

im really interested in seeing the movie for the 1st time. i don't believe i've seen it before. i hear it has won a few awards so i might pick it up at blockbuster video. i'll get back to you with a verdict.

I picked this up on Dvd on the weekend. Great film and excellent Character rolls.
