Besides "Maverick", "The Silence of the Lambs" is about the only film of her's I have seen, not that I avoid or dislike her, I just miss a lot of films....
So putting these two together, I thought she did a great job of paying the rough and tumble agent in SOTL, as opposed to her role in "Maverick".
Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought she was a boy, I missed the opening credits. Doris can be a boy's name but this is rare, (as the origins of this name in mythology comes from a female), I thought the character was perhaps put into some 'gender identity conflict' by being named "Doris' and changed his name to something prettier perhaps (????)
On the other hand I was thinking this might be a little "too modern" an idea for a film made in '74 :)
"Wait. Where are you going? I was going to make Espresso."
